TAQA - Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement

This qualification is part of the training, assessment and quality assurance (TAQA) suite of courses. It is ideal if you are a practitioner who uses a wide range of assessment methods based upon sound assessment principles. The assessment methods you use may include:

• Assessments in simulated environments
• Skills Tests
• Oral and written questions
• Observation
• Use of others (e.g. witnesses)
• Projects
• Learner statements

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but a basic competency in English and maths will be necessary and it is expected that all assessors and quality assurance individuals have occupational competence in the areas that they are assessing in.

You will also need to be working in an accredited, or non-accredited learning role.

Course Fees

Course fees must be settled prior to the start of the course.

If you have not achieved your qualification by the planned end date detailed in your individual learning plan, continued support and course access is available by paying monthly direct debit payments until certification is achieved.

You won’t have to pay anything back until you earn over £25,000 a year, there is no credit check and your household income isn’t taken into account when applying; plus it’s easy to apply. The CAW Loans2Learn scheme is a personal loan that can help you to spread the cost of your course into manageable payments.
