Huge reduction in cost for the new Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard – Available Now!

We’re delighted to announce that the new Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard has just been released by the Institute for Apprenticeships!
If you are a small employer (you have an annual payroll bill of less than £3 million), this means you can now train a finance apprentice for just £300! If you’re a large organisation, you can also benefit with all fees now being payable from your levy funds. What’s more – all fees are fully inclusive of first exam attempts!
But that’s not all…
Employ an apprentice aged 16-18 and save over £1,000!
If you take on an apprentice under 19 years of age, you will receive a £1,000 incentive from the government towards the training fees! In addition, if your organisation has less than 50 contracted employees the course fees will be fully funded!

- This apprenticeship consists of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by someone working in an Accounts/Finance Assistant role, to develop the required finance skills and enhance professional status.
- The new apprenticeship standard includes an End Point Assessment (EPA) to qualify, this involves undertaking a professional discussion as well as a computer-based test.
- The apprenticeship is expected to take 12-14 months to complete, with apprentices required to spend 20% of their working hours undertaking off-the-job training supported by the employer. For example this can include day release to college, shadowing and mentoring in the workplace, events CPD and online training.
