What you'll do at work

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to different departments across the business.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to emails in a professional and helpful manner.
• Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets and information on company systems.
• Assist with customer orders, quotations, invoices and general correspondence.
• Support the sales, purchasing, finance and customer service teams with administrative tasks.
• Prepare documents, reports and other information using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues to help ensure information is communicated accurately and on time.
• Assist with filing, data entry and maintaining organised electronic and paper records.
• Develop strong communication, organisation, time-management and problem-solving skills through practical experience and apprenticeship training.
