You Are Not Alone: Support After the Huntingdon Incident

Posted: 3 November 2025 at 8:46 am | Author: Sami Cooper

I am reaching out following the deeply upsetting incident at Huntingdon train station. We know this may have affected some of you directly or indirectly, and we want to acknowledge how unsettling such news can be.

Please remember that you are not alone. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or simply need someone to talk to, support is available:

  • You can speak with our Counselling team .
  • If you prefer to speak to someone outside of college hours, you can contact TogetherAll which offers 24/7 support and counselling services,  Kooth (www.kooth.com) for free, anonymous online support, or call Samaritans at 116 123—available 24/7.
  • We also have quiet spaces on campus if you need time to reflect or decompress.

Please take care of yourselves and each other. If you are worried about a friend or unsure where to turn, do not hesitate to reach out—we are here to help.

With warmest regards,
Barbara Cooper
Principal
