Enrolling now for September 2025:

All of our AAT accounting qualifications are also available to study as part of an apprenticeship.

Why study an AAT accounting or bookkeeping qualification?

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification is a practical, internationally recognised qualification that is valued by employers across the UK and overseas.

  • Develop skills to excel in the finance industry: Gain a comprehensive understanding of accounting and bookkeeping techniques.
  • Gain real job prospects and career opportunities: Finance professionals are required in all industries. You can start work in finance, go to university, become self-employed, or study to become an accountant after AAT.
  • Boost your earning potential and salary prospects: 83% of AAT members who have completed an AAT accounting qualification agree it has increased their earning potential.*
  • Fast track to chartered studies: Completing the AAT qualification gains you exemptions from all the main UK accountancy bodies, allowing a faster route to chartered accountancy.
