Awarded by the ILM this qualification is ideal for those members of your team who are new to their management or supervisory role or perhaps are just looking to enter into such a role.
The course will cover a range of key management skills and leadership styles. Giving you the confidence that your managers will have the ability to lead their teams through the spectrum of management challenges.
Free studying memberships with the ILM is included which will provide access to a range of tools and resources to help get the most from the formal training provided.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal academic entry requirements to work towards this qualification. However, your staff member should be in a supervisory or leadership role. Alternatively if the individual is potentially looking to progress into such as role then the opportunity must be given for them to meet the assessment demands; please contact us if you have any questions about this.
Course Content
This live online course offers online learning, allowing for home study with regular tutorial support and lectures on key topics.
A selection of the following units will need to be completed. The unit credits need to comply with those required for a certificate, the selection can be discussed with your tutor and appropriate dates/units selected:
- Planning and allocating work
- Understanding leadership
- Understanding conflict management in the workplace
- Understanding stress management in the workplace
- Understanding discipline in the workplace
- Understanding recruitment and selection of new staff in the workplace
- Understanding health and safety in the workplace
- Setting team objectives in the workplace
- Planning change in the workplace
- Understanding how to manage remote workers
- Understanding Customer Service Standards and Requirements
- Meeting Customer Needs (deliver with customer service standards)
- Developing yourself and others
- Understanding how to motivate to improve performance
- Leading and motivating a team effectively
- Understanding how to lead effective meetings
Assessment
Course units are assessed by a written assignment, written questions and reflective reviews.
Course Fees
Course fees can either be paid in full before the beginning of the course or via our ‘Pay As You Learn’ monthly payment scheme
If your employee has not achieved your qualification by the planned end date detailed in their individual learning plan, continued support and course access is available by paying monthly direct debit payments until certification is achieved.

What Next?
The ILM Level 3 qualification will be a professional addition to your team member's CV and stand them in good stead when applying for managerial or supervisory positions. Depending on their management experience, upon completion of the ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification, your team member could become an Associate Member (AIoL) or Member (MIoL) of the Institute of Leadership.
