Subject: Coaching and Mentoring

I am: an employer a student

The Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship qualification is a practical, evidence-based course designed for those who wish to develop their skills to actively listen, provide feedback and use coaching and mentoring to advance their performance. This apprenticeship is ideal for those working in a role where there is a responsibility to improve performance of individuals and teams.

Coaching is a way of leading in a non-directive manner, helping people to learn through deep listening and reflective, open questions rather than instructing, giving advice or making suggestions. It is a way of treating people, a way of thinking and a way of being which is seen as vital to supporting individuals and organisations in increasingly volatile and ever-changing environments. The underlying and ever-present purpose of coaching is building the self-belief of others, regardless of the context, to be curious and self-aware, better equipping them to collaborate, innovate, deal with the increasing pace of change and get the best from increasingly diverse environments.

This programme will strengthen your understanding of how coaching and mentoring works in an organisational context and teach you how to plan and deliver coaching and mentoring to others.

You will study via online learning; outside of this you will be learning on-the-job gaining valuable coaching and mentoring skills in a real life setting.

CAW Business School has a well-earned reputation for excellence; delivering quality training and education and employer support. As an apprentice you will benefit from:
